专业介绍

The program has a strong emphasis on developing future teachers' instructional practices for the purpose of sustaining cultural and linguistic diversity and disrupting inequities in schools. Faculty members are passionate and committed to providing future teachers with opportunities to work closely with their community, engage in practice-informed experiences, and learn ways to be culturally and linguistically responsive. Future teachers learn teaching practices that are rooted in social justice.

• Elementary Education; Teacher Certification in Grades EC-6 Core Subjects with ESL
• Bilingual/Biliteracy Education; Teacher Certification in Grades EC-6 Core Subjects with Bilingual-Spanish
• Middle Level Education; Teacher Certification in Core Subjects, Grades 4-8
• Middle Level Education; Teacher Certification in English Language Arts and Reading/Social Studies, Grades 4-8
• Middle Level Education; Teacher Certification in Mathematics, Grades 4-8
• Middle Level Education; Teacher Certification in Mathematics and Science, Grades 4-8
• Middle Level Education; Teacher Certification in Science, Grades 4-8
• Secondary Education; Teacher Certification with Double Major in another B.S. teacher certification degree program
• Special Education; Teacher Certification in Special Education, Grades EC-12
