专业介绍

The Bachelor of Information Technology with specialisations at Charles Sturt University Melbourne gives students a comprehensive understanding of fields across the entire IT industry. They can also choose to specialise in an area that fires their imagination and fits their career goals.

This specialisation is for the students who are interested in computer programming, and software and application development. The specialisation begins with the basic programming principles and then discusses the advanced professional programming concepts for the production of quality software. Students taking this specialisation also learn fundamental mobile applications development concepts.

For each 8-point subject students are enrolled in, they should expect to spend 10 to 12 hours per week working on assignments and assigned readings, tutorial assistance, individual or group research/study, forum activity, workplace learning, and attending lectures, intensive schools, or examinations. If they are studying four subjects per session, this is equivalent to a full-time job. The workload for some subjects may vary as a result of approved course design.

Students enrolled at Charles Sturt University Melbourne will complete structured work integrated learning activities as part of their program of study. The opportunity to undertake work placement may be available for students contingent on satisfactory progression and grades.
