专业介绍

In this 2-year diploma program, students will learn how to support the safe and sustainable design and development of communities, highways, municipal infrastructure and systems, and civil structures.

Students will earn a Civil Engineering Technician diploma and acquire civil engineering knowledge and technical skills that are in demand across the country, through hands-on practical learning, both in the field and in our state-of-the-art labs. Students will learn about the design of wood, masonry, concrete, and water-related structures; test soils, road, and construction materials; use modern surveying and GPS technology; apply techniques to land development projects; create engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D for civil projects; prepare quantity and cost estimates; engage in contract administration and project management; and so much more. Courses are led by highly-qualified faculty who are passionate about their field, have strong ties to the industry, and are invested in helping students achieve their academic and career goals
