The University of Central Oklahoma's Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) in Forensic Science will produce graduates prepared to enter the forensic science workforce with knowledge of critical technical skills and experience in science and management.

The primary role of the professional doctorate is to deliver to the marketplace students with sophisticated skills, hands-on experience and ethical decision-making. In particular, the program is designed to produce graduates for forensic science and management positions at all government and private industry levels where there is currently great demand.

UCO’s unique D.Sc. program in forensics science offers a balance of internships, seminars and management leadership training that will be an integral part of the curriculum. Motivated students can be expected to finish the program in approximately three-four years. Much of the formal coursework in the doctoral program will be offered on a flexible schedule to serve working students who hold full-time day jobs.
