The Central Michigan University general administration program is designed to enhance students' administrative skills in critical thinking, strategic planning and analysis. With the ability to select courses across multiple concentrations, the degree is easily customizable to align with the student's career goals. No matter what career path students take, the general administration concentration will give them the tools to become the leader they aspire to be. The Master of Science in Administration is an interdisciplinary degree perfect for anyone in management or administration who wants to increase their skills sets and knowledge to advance in their profession. The MSA was developed to hone skills in leadership, management and organization for professional administrators in both the public and nonprofit sectors.

The General Administration concentration is designed to serve the needs of a very heterogeneous group of students. The intent is to offer a program of study which provides moderate structure through study in areas that are applicable to a wide variety of administrative settings. In addition, the student is afforded considerable flexibility in designing a program of study which avoids duplication of previous course work, training, or experience by allowing additional study in areas of choice.
