艺术学士 - 艺术教育

专业介绍

The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth's Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education is a professional degree that will prepare learners for elementary or secondary school teaching and for careers in other learning environments.

This course is a professional degree with concentrated areas of specialization, so students will take more art courses than they would in a Bachelor of Arts program. They also have the advantages of a university education where they can diversify their studies and expand their career opportunities.

As a teacher of art, students will be able to:

• Encourage reflection, compassion, and creativity.
• Shape the visual and aesthetic experiences.
• Integrate the arts into the community: schools, healthcare facilities, neighborhoods, cities.
