Program Description

This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the University of Surrey International Study Centre followed by entry into a university program offered at the University of Surrey. In your international foundation year you will study courses related to your intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance your skills as a student. Advancement into your intended program depends upon successful completion of the pathway program.

International Foundation Year

The Business, Economics, Law and Social Sciences International Foundation Year provides the subject knowledge, language proficiency and study skills students need to progress to degree study at the University of Surrey in the social sciences, business, and law. Students will study a core unit of general subject skills, subject-specific units and elective units, which are carefully designed for your academic development.

Degree Program

Upon completion of the pathway portion of this program, students will enter the International Tourism Management program at the University of Surrey. Students will be introduced to a variety of transferable skills such as management, planning, problem solving and critical thinking. Students will have the chance to hear from tourism industry professionals as well. The skills students learn at the University of Surrey will help them become an inspired global professional.
