Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology students at Post University will have access to learning experiences involving the study of the science of behavior and mental processes. These experiences are designed to help students develop strong academic and social skills for critical thinking, collaboration, oral and written expression, interpersonal effectiveness, and social maturity. They also offer an exploration of how to analytically review psychological literature and apply theory to practice by conducting psychology research projects.

BA in Psychology coursework provides a foundational liberal arts education. It emphasizes core areas, including personality, child and adolescent development, the relationship between the nervous system and behavior, societal and culture influence on human interaction, and the relationship between drugs, behavior, abnormal psychology, and the law. It also covers various scientific research methods—such as design and data analysis—as well as the factors that shape mental processes and behaviors.
