For entry to the 1st year of an undergraduate degree at Bournemouth University. Students' course length is determined mainly by their English language level (UKVI IELTS score or accepted equivalent). All students take a set of common or similar modules to gain key skills for university. If the course is longer than 2 terms, students will take extra modules focusing on one or more of English language, academic skills and basic subject knowledge.

Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Product Design

This cutting-edge course will give students the skills and guidance to develop successful commercial products. Students take a creative and innovative approach to problem solving, while addressing the functional, social and economic needs of their design. This course is currently accreditated by the Institution of Engineering Designers in order to fully meet the requirements for Registered Product Designer (RProdDes) registration. On this course students will be taught by a range of staff with relevant expertise and knowledge appropriate to the content of the unit. This will include senior academic staff, qualified professional practitioners, demonstrators, technicians and research students. Students will also benefit from regular guest lectures from industry.
