This International Foundation Year provides international students with preparation for the BA (Hons) Criminology degree. Students develop foundational knowledge in social studies and law while strengthening research, academic writing, communication, critical thinking and independent learning skills. The programme helps students adapt to UK university teaching and assessment. Successful completion enables progression to undergraduate Criminology, where students can explore crime, criminal behaviour, justice, social factors and criminological perspectives.
