Explore the complexities of finance theory and gain real-world financial trading experience on this unique full-time Master of Science in Finance and Global Trading taught by Loughborough University’s experts.

Many roles across finance require a deep understanding of how financial markets operate. On this course, students will build a solid foundation in the fundamentals of finance before gaining first-hand experience of trading across multiple asset classes and products using industry-standard trading software and live prices.

Spend their first semester studying with students on Master of Science Finance, exploring core topics such as corporate finance and quantitative methods, plus either financial reporting or fintech. Students will also start a year-long skills-based module that will set them up with the practical tools they’ll need from the outset of their career, including communication, presentation and teamwork skills.

Derivatives and behavioural finance are the core subjects for semester two – and they’ll have the chance to study other finance topics including portfolio management, and financial statements analysis and valuations.
