Civil engineers are responsible for the design, construction, and operation of various physical infrastructure that is often taken for granted by society. This includes bridges, buildings, as well as water treatment and waste management systems.

The field of civil engineering requires individuals to apply their knowledge in physics and mathematics, while also utilizing engineering and computing tools in a creative and sustainable manner.
