专业介绍

Graduate students in Biology generally focus on research in the broad areas of ecology, evolution, systematics, and molecular biology.

Because of the campus’ proximity to the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and other world-renowned science and engineering firms, there are abundant opportunities to conduct research, engage with industry professionals, and connect with community leaders.

Many students that complete MS degrees in Biology go on to PhD programs at competitive universities. Others teach at community colleges or private schools. Some also work for federal and state agencies, as well as in the private sector.
