Program Description

**Year 3 entry only

BSc Digital Design develops specialist skills in the creation of visuals and graphics for digital solutions such as web and mobile applications or motion graphics.

This program will prepare students for creative roles in the expanding digital industry. By undertaking studio-based projects, students will realise their design ambitions using industry standard design and prototyping software. Throughout the program, students will acquire the necessary technology skills and user-centered design thinking to create digital solutions for a variety of media including websites, motion graphics and mobile applications.

Students will be introduced to user psychology and learn how to apply techniques and skills in user experience and user interface design to create functional and beautiful digital products. They will also have the opportunity to understand how design can have social impact and learn how to apply their skills to tackle challenging issues facing today's society.

The program provides opportunities to partner with industry and enterprise on real and/or simulated design briefs ensuring that students experience the culture, pace and demands of industry and are well prepared for employment.
