The BEng (Hons) Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of West London explores how electrical and electronic engineering touches on almost every aspect of modern life, from communications to electrical power distribution and health care.

Students who want to maintain and develop new technologies for an ever-changing world will be prepared to do so through this course.

Demand for engineers is high, and this course combines academic studies with practical applications of engineering design to give students the technical and personal skills needed to succeed as professional engineers.

This three-year course is subject to reaccreditation by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) with Partial Chartered Engineering status (Partial CEng). However, the 1-year top-up course is not accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology.

The BEng (Hons) Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of West London also offers a Level 6 top-up option. The Level 6 top-up course allows students to top up a relevant Level 5 qualification to a full honours degree and consists of a full year of studies covering the same modules as the third year of the regular degree.
