The BSc (Hons) Nursing Studies (Top-up) at the University of West London is a full-time, one-year course that enables overseas internationally registered nurses who hold a Level 5 diploma qualification to ‘top-up’ and achieve a UK undergraduate honours degree.

With a focus on UK healthcare delivery, the course will enhance students’ clinical, evidence-based practice, management and leadership skills.

The course is delivered from the University’s West London campus, enabling students to be immersed in UK culture, access state-of-the-art learning facilities and network with students from different countries.

Completion of the course will enhance continuing professional development and career opportunities. It does not provide eligibility to apply to register with the NMC as a nurse.

Students who are currently registered with the NMC as a nurse, employed in the UK and wishing to top up to an honours degree should access the BSc (Hons) Clinical Practice (Level 6 only).

The BSc (Hons) Nursing Studies (Top-up) at the University of West London also offers study options, including an Extended pathway for those who do not meet the entry requirements for the standard top-up course.
