The Undergraduate Foundation Program (UFP) offers successful students guaranteed progression to the University of Southampton. This program is designed to prepare international students, who have completed senior secondary education, for entry to undergraduate studies at the University of Southampton.

This program includes English and three academic subject modules. There are three academic pathways to choose from and candidates will study the pathway most suited to their chosen progression degree. The pathways are: Business, Economics, Finance and Management, Life Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences and Art and Design.

Radical changes in the way people produce and use electricity, such as the growth of wind and solar energy and the electrification of transport, pose new challenges for electrical engineers. With this Integrated Master's in Electrical Engineering, graduates can contribute to the development of a smarter, greener and more secure electric power grid. This accredited degree will give them access to professional registration as a Chartered Engineer.

Electrical engineering is about electricity on a large scale – the way it is generated, controlled and distributed for use in industry and homes.
