Program Description

This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the International Study Centre for the University of Strathclyde followed by entry into a university program offered at the University of Strathclyde. In the international foundation year, students will study courses related to their intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance their skills as a student. Advancement into students' intended program depends upon the successful completion of the pathway program.

The International Foundation Year in Business & Social Sciences will familiarize students with a wide area of study. They will develop their critical thinking skills, creativity, analytical and team working skills, providing them with the most crucial skills required as a successful graduate.

This MSci is a five-year Masters degree with entry into either Year 1 with Highers or Year 2 with Advanced Highers or A Levels.

Pharmacology is the study of how drugs and other chemicals affect the body in health and disease. This area explores the development of new and improved medicines and the treatment of disease.

This degree is for those who want to specialise in a single biomedical sciences option at Masters level. The course is particularly relevant if students want to pursue an academic or research-related career.
