Program Description

This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the International Study Centre for the University of Huddersfield followed by entry into a university program offered at the University of Huddersfield. In the International Year One program, you will study courses related to your intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance your skills as a student. Advancement into your intended program depends upon the successful completion of the pathway program.

The International Foundation Year One in Engineering & Computer Science will help you establish subject knowledge and English. This program will also prepare you to join in the second year of your intended undergraduate degree at the University of Huddersfield. With smaller class sizes and additional support to help you develop your academic knowledge. The modules and subjects you study will be akin to the same content you can expect in your chosen undergraduate degree, subjects are dependent on your chosen field of study.

The automotive industry is a hugely rewarding sector to get into, if you’re looking to become a leader in a thriving, global industry, working at the forefront of engineering developments, this integrated Master’s course could be the ideal start. Successfully completing the MEng course means that you graduate with a Postgraduate level qualification, which can give you an advantage in the job market. We want to help you make the most of all the exciting opportunities the automotive industry has to offer. So we’ve designed our course to give you the chance to prepare for the next step. As an integrated Master’s student, you’ll study the same content as the Automotive and Motorsport Engineering BEng(Hons), then complete a final year for your Master’s. In that final year we'll concentrate on management skills, all with the aim of enabling you to go on and become a leader in this exciting industry.
