Program Description

If students have completed high school with good grades but don’t qualify for entry to an undergraduate degree, they could study an International Year One, which combines university preparation with degree 1st year.

MEng(Hons) Aerospace Engineering with Pilot Studies has been designed in response to an increasing demand for qualified aerospace engineers and from regional aerospace partners to give students the industry relevant skills and graduate attributes needed to become the technical specialists and leaders of tomorrow within the aerospace industry. This course equips students with industry knowledge, as well as an in-depth understanding of the aerospace design and build process.

Study materials and manufacturing, stress and dynamics, energy and thermodynamics and Engineering mathematics and Introduction to Aeronautics to gain a solid grounding in aerospace engineering principles in the first year. Specialize in the second year through the Systems, Design and Manufacturing pathways.
