专业介绍

Program Description

Build a future by studying in the UK, with a pathway course at Kaplan International College (KIC) London. Situated in the world’s top academic city (QS Best Student Cities 2019), the College will prepare students for a university degree, and for a successful career.

Study at one of the most respected international colleges in London, and progress to one of 8 universities, including the University of Bristol.

The University of Bristol is a highly ranked Russell Group university with a fantastic reputation. Students will join a global community of students from more than 150 countries, and enjoy life in one of the UK’s most exciting cities.

Physics is a truly international venture. This degree generally follows the structure of the MSci Physics course, offering a comprehensive grounding in physics and mathematics, practical work in the laboratory and computational physics, alongside study of a language to prepare students for the third year in Europe.

They will be placed at a partner university in Europe for an academic year, studying units that parallel, as far as possible, the third year of the Bristol degree programme. For further details of year abroad opportunities visit Global Opportunities.

In the final year back in Bristol students will undertake a major project or dissertation, working in a research group with a member of staff. Students' final-year projects address questions at the frontiers of research fields, and the most successful have been published in scientific journals.

Students will join a friendly department with a very active, award-winning student society. Bristol encourages students to develop a broad range of skills – including problem solving and communication – while experiencing life as a physicist in a different culture. Physics graduates have an excellent record of employment, a testament to the value that employers place on these skills.
