This biomedical engineering course follows the pioneering CDIO (conceive, design, implement, operate) approach, which was developed by Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Throughout their degree, students will design one or two CDIO projects each semester, many of which are outsourced by industry. Biomedical engineers apply their knowledge of engineering and materials to provide solutions for healthcare. Students could work as a bioengineer or as a clinical engineer in a hospital or clinic.
