12 Week Pre-Sessional English + International Incorporated Bachelors (IIB) - Stage One - Continue to Master of Arts (Honours) - Philosophy and Psychology

专业介绍

The International Stage One is equivalent to the first year of a four-year Scottish undergraduate degree. This program is designed to help students develop their academic knowledge and skills within their subject area. Students will also focus on improving their English academic literacy in preparation for continuing onto their chosen University of Dundee undergraduate degree. Studied across three terms, students will continue straight onto Year two of the degree course at the University once they have successfully completed the International Stage One.

In the Philosophy and Psychology course, students are encouraged to make links between philosophy and psychology. The course specializes in continental (European) philosophy and teaches key texts from the European tradition. The course helps students look at how philosophy is important to real-world concerns and contemporary issues by exploring films and artwork, discussing important scientific and technological developments, debating controversial ethical issues, and examining how texts written 300 years ago can be relevant to political situations today.
