12 Week Pre-Sessional English + International Incorporated Bachelors (IIB) - Stage One - Continue to Master of Arts (Honours) - Geography and Politics

专业介绍

The International Stage One is the equivalent to the first year of a four year Scottish undergraduate degree. This program is designed to assist students in developing their academic knowledge and skills within their subject area. Students will also focus on enhancing their English academic literacy in preparation for progressing to their chosen University of Dundee undergraduate degree. Studied across three terms, students will seamlessly transition to Year two of the degree course at the University upon successful completion of the International Stage One.

In Geography, students will explore both social and physical sciences to analyze and comprehend major challenges facing the world. They have the option to specialize in human geography or physical geography, or integrate elements of both.

Students will also have the opportunity to participate in field trips and collaborate with partner organizations to address real-world issues.

The teaching approach is grounded in the research conducted within the department and centers on three main themes: fostering equitable communities and places, shaping environmental futures, and utilizing geospatial and digital methods.
