The International Stage One is equivalent to the first year of a four-year Scottish undergraduate degree. This program is designed to help students develop their academic knowledge and skills within their subject area. Students will also focus on improving their English academic literacy in preparation for continuing onto their chosen University of Dundee undergraduate degree. Studied across three terms, students will continue straight onto Year two of the degree course at the University once they have successfully completed the International Stage One.

The Environmental Sustainability course examines the interaction between people and their surroundings. Students will learn about the use of natural resources and how to attain more sustainable lifestyles.

Environmental Sustainability degree can help students tackle pollution, ensure that new developments enhance rather than detract from their surroundings, and offer communities the chance to have a real say in how people use their natural resources. Students will study the principles and policies needed to help deliver sustainable development and consider both the local and global implications on natural resources.

Students will develop specialist analytical and communication skills that will help them work effectively with communities, individuals, and other professionals.
