This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the International Study Centre for the University of Huddersfield followed by entry into a university program offered at the University of Huddersfield. In your international foundation year, you will study courses related to your intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance your skills as a student. Advancement into your intended program depends upon successful completion of the pathway program.

The International Foundation Year in Engineering, Computing & Science will provide you the skills and tools necessary for success in an undergraduate degree in more than 30 degrees, including a plethora of engineering degrees, computer science, music technology, forensic science and pharmaceutical science. During your time at the University of Huddersfield, you will study core subjects, as well as optional subjects that are intentionally designed for your chosen field of study. All of these skills will be key for future academic success at the University of Huddersfield.

Understanding key environmental issues, such as global warming and plastic pollution, is the first step to devising solutions for a cleaner planet and a healthier future generation. An Environmental and Analytical Science BSc(Hons) degree equips you with comprehensive knowledge of the Earth’s systems and the skills and knowhow to contribute to the field of environmental science as an analytical scientist.

On campus, you’ll have the opportunity to study a wide range of modules including Earth Processes, Sustainability, Anthropocene, Climate Meteorology and Atmospheric Systems, and Analytical Science.

After completing the core modules in your first and second years, you’ll be able to specialise in your final year.
