The Undergraduate Foundation Program (UFP) offers successful students guaranteed progression to the University of Southampton. This program is designed to prepare international students, who have completed senior secondary education, for entry to undergraduate studies at the University of Southampton.

This program includes English and three academic subject modules. There are three academic pathways to choose from and candidates will study the pathway most suited to their chosen progression degree. The pathways are: Business, Economics, Finance and Management, Life Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences and Art and Design.

The Bachelor of Science in Oceanography includes study of the marine ecosystems and ocean processes whilst graduates will explore some of the remotest places on earth. They will learn to use the latest technologies in molecular biology, high performance computing and robotic sampling to address the key challenges facing the marine environment.
