Students will explore a wide range of specialisms, from animal behavior and human biosciences to psychology once they have successfully completed the Biological and Biomedical Foundation program. The University of Plymouth champions experiential learning in the laboratory and in the field, with progression degrees including an optional placement year to help them gain valuable real-world experience.

The lack of physical activity and poor diet increasingly contribute to obesity and chronic diseases. The Bachelor of Science in Nutrition, Exercise and Health will give students an insight into the key disciplines that relate exercise and nutrition to health. They will also develop the practical skills, critical awareness and proficiencies required for professional competence. Learners will graduate ready for employment in the food or fitness industries, health promotion, lifestyle education or public health.
