The BSc Bioveterinary Sciences degree at the University of Reading prepares students for a wide range of careers within the animal and veterinary sectors. Bioveterinary scientists play an essential role in society by supporting sustainability and food security through the care and management of farmed animals, applying scientific methods to improve the welfare and behaviour of domestic and captive animals, and conducting research that bridges animal biology, veterinary science, and animal management.
