专业介绍

The Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Criminology and Criminal Psychology (with International Foundation Program) is a comprehensive degree designed to equip students with a deep understanding of crime, criminal behavior, and the justice system. The program begins with an International Foundation Year, which prepares students with essential academic skills, subject knowledge, and English language proficiency needed for successful undergraduate study.

Following the foundation year, students progress into the honours degree, where they explore the causes, consequences, and prevention of crime through both sociological and psychological perspectives. The curriculum integrates key areas such as criminal justice systems, forensic and criminal psychology, research methods, and ethical considerations in crime and law.

Throughout the course, students develop critical thinking, analytical, and research skills, culminating in an independent research project or dissertation in their final year. The program prepares graduates for a wide range of careers in criminal justice, law enforcement, forensic and investigative fields, as well as for further postgraduate study in psychology, criminology, or related disciplines.
