The LLB in Law offers a truly modern legal education reflecting the needs and concerns of society in the 21st century. Whether students are planning a career in the legal profession or a career in almost any other field of expertise, this degree will challenge and inspire.

Students will develop key skills in research, analysis, and legal argument, whilst engaging with the study of law as a socially relevant and rigorous academic discipline.

The programme invites students to develop a knowledge and understanding of legal concepts, their practical applications and policy implications within a supported learning environment that incorporates a range of different learning techniques. However, the study of law is not simply about acquiring knowledge. Throughout the duration of the programme, students are encouraged to learn new skills and enhance their existing abilities to equip and prepare them for the demands of any future career. University of Liverpool aims to provide a programme that fires the imagination and reflects their best endeavours in the final degree classification.

This degree programme allows students to complete the core modules required to pass through the academic stage of the route to practice for professional purposes whilst also allowing them the opportunity to spend year three of the programme at an approved European or overseas partner university.
