The University of Sunderland’s Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Health, Wellbeing and Social Care is a three-year course designed to prepare students for employment, leadership development and further study within the health and social care sector. Students develop knowledge of person-centred practice, communication, wellbeing, safeguarding, ethics, policy and leadership while gaining an understanding of contemporary health and social care systems. As they progress, they build research, analytical and professional skills through applied learning and real-world scenarios. In the final year, students undertake an applied research project and choose a specialist pathway aligned to their interests and career goals.
