The Undergraduate Foundation Program (UFP) offers successful students guaranteed progression to the University of Southampton. This program is designed to prepare international students, who have completed senior secondary education, for entry to undergraduate studies at the University of Southampton.

This program includes English and three academic subject modules. There are three academic pathways to choose from and candidates will study the pathway most suited to their chosen progression degree. The pathways are: Business, Economics, Finance and Management, Life Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences and Art and Design.

Electrical engineering is about the generation and control of electricity, its distribution for use in homes and industry, and the design of large-scale machinery. The Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering will take graduates in several interesting career directions – they could find themselves in improving the integration of sustainable power sources to the grid or designing next-generation components to upgrade the ageing power infrastructure.
