Program Description

This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the Leeds Beckett University International Study Centre. After completing the pathway, students will progress into a program at Leeds Beckett University. In an international foundation year students will study courses related to their intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance their skills as a student. Advancement into their intended program depends upon successful completion of the pathway program.

This International Foundation Year provides the subject knowledge in sciences and mathematics, as well as the English language skills necessary for success in an undergraduate program at Leeds Beckett University. Once a student completes this course they will be suitable for progression options in areas such as computing, biomedical sciences and civil engineering.

After completing this pathway, students will transition to the BSc - Sport and Exercise Science program. Endorsed by the British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences, this practical, multidisciplinary degree will help you to develop as a complete sport and exercise scientist. You will gain an evidence-based appreciation of biomechanics, nutrition, physiology and psychology and their applications within sport and exercise environments.
