专业介绍

Program Description

Build a future by studying in the UK, with a pathway course at Kaplan International College (KIC) London. Situated in the world’s top academic city (QS Best Student Cities 2019), the College will prepare students for a university degree, and for a successful career.

Study at one of the most respected international colleges in London, and progress to one of 8 universities, including the University of Bristol.

The University of Bristol is a highly ranked Russell Group university with a fantastic reputation. Students will join a global community of students from more than 150 countries, and enjoy life in one of the UK’s most exciting cities.

Studying abroad in Europe fosters language skills and intellectual growth as well as developing a breadth of perspective.

If students are driven by intellectual curiosity and enjoy the satisfaction of cracking difficult puzzles, this course offers a rigorous foundation in mathematics that will help them stand out to top employers.

Bristol lecturers are passionate about their subject, with modules informed by cutting-edge research in fundamental mathematical abstractions, statistics and practical applications to global problems. Vocational units, currently including Financial Risk Management and Maths in Schools, prepare students for a successful career in industry. Opportunities to undertake a research project could inspire them to pursue postgraduate study.

The first two years of the course provide a broad background in mathematics, similar to the single honours mathematics degrees, and include relevant European language units.

Provided students fulfil the progression requirements of the Study Abroad in a Modern Language course at the end of year two, they will spend the third year abroad in a partner university, studying mathematics in a foreign language. Visit the Global Opportunities website to find out where students can study in Europe.

Students will return to Bristol to complete the fourth year of the degree, where they will benefit from a wide choice of third-year units.
