Integrated Foundation - Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Business Information Technology

专业介绍

The BSc (Hons) Business Information Technology (BIT) course is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to bridge the gap between business and IT, enabling them to drive digital transformation, innovation, and organisational growth. The programme focuses on developing the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across a range of industries. While it provides a solid foundation in traditional computing, it places strong emphasis on in-demand digital transformation skills essential in today’s information-driven economy.

Students benefit from the support of experienced teaching staff, many of whom have professional backgrounds in computing, are actively engaged in research, and collaborate with industry partners to deliver innovative and relevant learning experiences.

The course also offers a Foundation Year option, allowing students to complete the degree over four years. The Foundation Certificate, undertaken in the first year, provides a comprehensive introduction that prepares students for degree-level study. Progression to the subsequent years of the programme requires successful completion of all Foundation Year modules.
