Integrated Foundation - Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Architecture (K101)

专业介绍

Integrated Foundation - Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Architecture functions as both an introduction and a bridge, giving students—especially those from diverse educational backgrounds or self-taught pathways—the chance to build the academic, creative, and technical skills required for success in architecture and related disciplines such as interiors or landscape design. It focuses on architectural and spatial design principles, encouraging exploration, experimentation, and the development of a strong personal identity and creative vision.

The program also emphasizes collaboration, professional awareness, and an understanding of the wider built environment and creative industries, helping students discover their preferred design discipline and potential career pathways. Through an inclusive and supportive educational environment, students learn to think critically, work independently, and communicate their design ideas effectively.

By the end of the foundation year, students are expected to be fully prepared to progress into the main BA (Hons) Architecture course, equipped with a robust portfolio, a defined creative outlook, and the confidence and adaptability needed for further architectural study and professional practice.
