The International Year One at Leeds International Study Centre is designed to help students to directly join the second year of their undergraduate degree at Leeds Beckett University. Designed to improve the English language and academic skills to an appropriate level for degree study, the programme is equivalent to the first year of an undergraduate degree and will prepare students for success as they study in the UK and beyond.

The International Year One is perfect for students who feel ready to join the second year of their undergraduate degree, but either do not meet the UK entry requirements or would like a softer transition to the UK education system.

With an internationally-tailored curriculum, this course will prepare students with all the subject-relevant knowledge they will need to achieve their potential in their degree.

This course is taught in English, so it will give students a chance to get used to studying in a new language, as well as being a great start to studying abroad in a multicultural community.
