专业介绍

An International Year 1 (IY1) is a university preparation course designed for international students who may not meet the direct entry requirements for an undergraduate degree. It will allow them to bridge the gap between their current qualifications and the demands of university degree study in the UK or Europe.

Student will study their IY1 at OnCampus London with access to all of its facilities. The IY1 will help them develop their academic skills, English language level and subject knowledge, and adapt to living and studying in a different country.

School's inspiring and experienced teachers develop confident learners and help students achieve outstanding results. We’ll ensure they will stay on track and, when they pass their IY1 at the required level with good attendance, they will be all set to step into the second year of their chosen degree.

Student will study on the campus of Birkbeck, University of London. As an international student, they will be fully immersed in the beating heart of London’s academic centre, surrounded by intellectual giants like SOAS University of London, Senate House Library, and UCL. With students from over 120 countries, Birkbeck is proud of its diverse and inclusive community. They will be part of a vibrant international network, supported by specialist services tailored to help them thrive
