专业介绍

The 2-Semester Pathway - Undergraduate Foundation Programme - Business is a one-year programme offers successful students guaranteed progression to Loughborough University. This programme is designed to prepare international students, who have completed senior secondary education, for entry to undergraduate studies at the university.

The International Foundation Programme is set at level 3, which is equivalent to A-level standard in the United Kingdom. The two semester programme lasts one academic year [nine months]. Each semester includes, on average, 13 teaching weeks, one reading week and one assessment week. On average, students will undertake 21 (and up to 25) hours of classroom-based study per week. This programme includes English and three academic subject modules. English will be integrated into the teaching of academic subjects, as well as being taught separately if they need additional support to develop their English language. They will be assessed at regular intervals throughout the programme to ensure they are making the progress required to successfully complete the programme. Full assessment of the programme will take place in the final semester. Assessment methodologies are aligned to those that will be experienced in the University environment, and include project work, essays, and presentations.

Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Sport Management:

The Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Sport Management course will provide students with a thorough grounding in the key strategic challenges and opportunities for sport by developing their understanding of sports organisations, governance, policy, marketing and economics. With a strong focus on employability throughout the course, they will have the opportunity to work with Loughborough University Sport and its partners on real-world business issues, take advantage of strong partnerships across sport to secure an optional year-long placement, and put theory into practice alongside elite athletes on campus via Coach and Volunteer Academy (CVA).
