In an international foundation year students will study courses related to their intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance their skills as a student. Advancement into their intended program depends upon successful completion of the pathway program.

This International Foundation Year provides the subject knowledge in sciences and mathematics, as well as the English language skills necessary for success in an undergraduate program at Leeds Beckett University. Once a student completes this course they will be suitable for progression options in areas such as computing, biomedical sciences and civil engineering.

After completing this pathway, students will transition to the BA International Business program. By studying this course, you will develop valuable knowledge of the regulations and processes governing international trade, and you will have the opportunity to specialize in international finance or global marketing. If you choose to take up the option of a placement year or study abroad, you will hone your problem-solving abilities and gain real-world experience, boosting your employability.
