The International Finance and Banking MSc equips students with the practical and technical skills required to work globally as self-employed financial consultants, financial analysts or managers, or venture capitalists within multinational companies, financial institutions, or governmental bodies.

With its strong analytical focus and emphasis on financial institutions and their markets, the course appeals both to professionals already working in financial markets who wish to progress in their careers, and to those from non-finance backgrounds seeking a career change.

Within the state-of-the-art Financial Markets Suite (FMS), students receive hands-on training and gain access to live and historical news and data, using the same Bloomberg platform employed by leading global investment banks. This learning environment fosters a real-world understanding of assets, indices, currencies, derivatives, stocks, shares, and interest rates, effectively preparing students for careers in the global business and finance sectors.

Graduates of the programme have gone on to work for major banks such as Standard Chartered, Citibank, Société Générale, and Paribas, as well as for governmental and international organizations, including the World Economic Forum and the Taiwanese government.
