This 3 term programme offers successful students guaranteed progression to Year 2 of their degree. They will study your Foundation programme at the school centre located at the heart of the London South Bank University campus.

This programme is designed for international students who do not quite have the academic grades and/or English level to start the first year of an undergraduate degree at London South Bank University, but have a stronger profile than a Undergraduate Foundation Pathway student.

All students who successfully complete the International Year One are guaranteed progression to Year 2 of a business-related undergraduate degree at London South Bank University. This programme is set at level 4, and is equivalent to the first year of an undergraduate business degree in the UK.

The year is divided into three terms of seven to eight teaching weeks, one reading week, and an examination week. On average, students will undertake 23 (and up to 28) hours of classroom-based study per week. English Language forms up to six hours of your timetable, is compulsory for students who are below the required level for progression, and will be integrated into the teaching of academic subjects as well as being taught separately if they need additional support. Students who are at or above the required English level for progression are likely to follow a reduced timetable.

Continue to Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Business Management

Students will develop knowledge and skills across several business disciplines, focusing on the study of organisations, management and the changing environment in which they operate.

The course has been created to combine theory with current industry practice. This way, students can develop an understanding of the relevant knowledge and skills needed to apply for business management roles. This course covers professional competencies, people and organisations, business economics, management and information systems, e-business, business ethics, market research, e-commerce, social media and entrepreneurial finance.
