The programme is designed to develop Students English language skills and introduce students to essential academic and study skills before travelling to the International Study Centre to begin their academic programme.

This International Foundation Year provides the subject knowledge, language proficiency and study skills students need to progress to degree study at the Durham University, Durham City campus a in a range of subjects related to economics, accounting or finance. After completing this pathway, students will transfer to the BA (Honours) Business and Management Program. For the graduates of today and tomorrow, being competitive and employable depends on demonstrating innovation, flexibility and commitment to continued learning.

Durham is looking for students who are inquisitive and wish to learn more by investigating and researching. Flexibility - the BA (Honours) Business and Management; BA Marketing degrees share a common first year, therefore it may be possible to switch between courses upon successful completion .
