The BSc (Hons) Business Economics at the University of West London is informed by UNESCO's framework and equips students to make responsible business decisions and address local and global challenges in evolving economic environments.

Students will study cutting-edge economic theories and concepts, enhancing their analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills. This gateway course allows students to pursue a career in business economics without requiring a heavily mathematical background, and no prior knowledge of business or economics is needed.

The course is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), meaning students who complete the degree are exempt from the four Certificate in Business Accounting exams (BA1–BA4) and can progress directly to the Operational Level of the CIMA Professional Qualification.
