The Accounting and Finance degree at the University of West London will help students gain both theoretical knowledge and practical experience.

Students will learn from professional accountants who will support their academic and career goals, equipping them to compete in the financial jobs market.

The course is designed to maximise exemptions from the exams set by professional accountancy bodies such as the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (AICPA & CIMA) and Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).

This means students will sit fewer professional body exams and could shorten the length of time it takes them to gain their professional qualification.

The Accounting and Finance degree at the University of West London also offers a foundation year. The foundation year course is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to continue on to the honours degree. Students will study a range of subjects that will underpin their future study and also gain valuable experience of university life, with full access to campus facilities. Successful completion of the year allows students to progress straight on to Level 4 of the course.
