The BA (Hons) Business Management, Analytics and Technology is accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and is designed for individuals who want to actively engage in business while developing a strong academic foundation. With a focus on how information technology supports business, the programme develops practical analytical and problem-solving skills that distinguish graduates in the employment market.

The course covers a broad range of key business concepts across themes such as responsible management, business ethics, business analytics, digital media, innovation and globalisation. Specialisation in Business Management and Business Technology enables the development of a comprehensive understanding of current and future business IT. This knowledge is applied to informing business decision-making, critically evaluating the commercial management of IT, and understanding the strategic importance of business analytics. CMI accreditation confirms that the programme meets high professional standards in management and leadership, and, as a dual-accredited course, graduates automatically receive a CMI professional qualification alongside the BA (Hons) degree.

Teaching and learning are delivered through varied, interactive and engaging methods, including formal lectures, tutor-led and student-led seminars, one-to-one and small-group tutorials, work experience and consultancy projects, self-directed study, optional placement and internship opportunities, and joint projects with overseas students.

In the final year, the programme culminates in a Business Consultancy Project.
