The Undergraduate Foundation Program (UFP) offers successful students guaranteed progression to the University of Southampton. This program is designed to prepare international students, who have completed senior secondary education, for entry to undergraduate studies at the University of Southampton.

This program includes English and three academic subject modules. There are three academic pathways to choose from and candidates will study the pathway most suited to their chosen progression degree. The pathways are: Business, Economics, Finance and Management, Humanities and Social Sciences and Art and Design.

The Bachelor of Arts in English and Modern Languages with German graduates will b uild their critical thinking, cultural understanding and communication skills by studying English and French, German or Spanish. They can choose a language they have not studied. Students will get extra hours of teaching and funding for a language course abroad at the end of year 1 to make fast progress.
