Students develop a strong understanding of the role of marketing in today’s multi-channel environment and how marketing fits into a wider organisational context. International Incorporated Bachelors (IIB) - Stage One - Master of Arts - Business Economics with Marketing and Geography explores how marketing supports effective decision-making, resource allocation, and the identification of growth opportunities.

Business Economics focuses on economic concepts, theories, and principles, and how these are applied to business activities within organisations and across the wider business world. Students gain an understanding of the economic factors influencing target markets, particularly in relation to emerging markets, enabling them to evaluate opportunities and challenges effectively.

In Geography, students study both social and physical sciences to analyse and understand major global challenges. They develop creative and transferable skills in problem-solving, presentation, and communication. Geography degrees offer flexibility, allowing students to specialise in human geography, physical geography, or a combination of both, alongside optional study in other social science or humanities subjects.

Students have opportunities to participate in field trips and collaborate with partner organisations to address real-world problems. The course covers key thematic areas including health and wellbeing, city futures, geopolitics and power, tourism and globalisation, policing and security, and hazards and risk. Teaching is supported by dedicated learning spaces, laboratories, field equipment, and specialist software such as Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
