3-Term Pathway - Foundation Certificate for Business, Law and Social Sciences - Continue to Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Politics and Communication and Media (Honours Select 50:50)

专业介绍

Program Description

In Year One of the Politics programme students take two compulsory modules Foundations in Politics and Foundations in International Politics, as well as two optional modules focused on British Politics, Comparative Politics, or Study Skills. In Years Two and Three there are a wide choice of optional modules, including the option of a Dissertation in Year Three, giving students the chance to complete a sustained, original piece of work on a topic of their choice.

Media coverage represents the most important method for communicating key issues and developments in most subject areas to the wider world, so Communication and Media makes an excellent partner for 50:50 combinations with another subject. This means that students will find plenty of opportunities for crossover between Politics and Communication and Media, but students will still study core modules from both. In Communication and Media, the full range of modules will be open to students in Years Two and Three.
